The Instructor Development Course is an intensive 2 weeks of learning, studying, development and laughter, however, you will not have a lot of time during the course for exploring Mexico or for booking excursions. We advise you to arrive a few days before or a stay a few days after in order to make the most of your trip.

You are more than welcome to join us for some fun dives before or after your course start date to explore our beautiful local reefs, Cozumel Island and the incredible Cenote Caverns! We offer unbeatable prices for all our Instructor Candidates.

Yes of course! Materials are available in multiple languages and we can also provide you with the course lesson guides in your language of choice to follow along on your laptop while the Course Director is teaching. Following the course in English is the most popular option as most candidates of course then want to go on to work and teach as an Instructor and would like to be able to do so in two languages.

Having the materials in your language of choice allows for optimal learning and quick and easy reference.

Most Instructor candidates who do not have English as their first language choose to follow the IDC in English but using the learning materials in their own language. Our Course Director can also provide verbal translation in Spanish. German and Dutch translation is also available by our IDC Staff Instructor.

Upon request we also do offer the Instructor Development Course in Spanish.Contact us
